Let’s Think About Theory!
Saturday, November 29, 2025 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Do you want to understand why the music you listen to sounds the way it does? Do you want to learn about how to use that understanding in your own musical journey?
Come learn about music theory at the Let’s Think About Theory workshop!
Co-taught by two professional musicians, the Let’s Think About Theory workshop will help you understand music theory concepts and teach you to recognize elements of music theory by ear. The workshop is open to all musicians aged eighteen and up, and will include group instruction, demonstration, and guided small-group practice.
By the end of this workshop you will have a deeper understanding of intervals, major scales, minor scales, key signatures, and chords. You will also have developed your ability to recognize these by ear, and will know how to apply your theory knowledge as you pursue your personal musical goals. Let us help you learn music theory!
